Delete Your StepMat Account

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your social data (leaderboards, challenges) will be permanently deleted within 24 hours.

Delete Account via StepMat App

If you still have the StepMat app installed, follow these steps:

Open the StepMat App

Launch the app on your device

Go to Socials

Navigate to the social features section

Access Your Profile

Click the Trash Icon

Look for the delete/trash icon in your profile

Confirm Deletion

In the popup dialog, click "Delete" again to confirm

Done! Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 24 hours.

Delete Account via Email

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot access it, send us an email:

I would like to delete my StepMat account and all associated data.

Reason: [Optional - why you want to delete]

Please confirm when the deletion is complete.

Response time: We will process your request within 72 hours and send you a confirmation email.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

Permanently Deleted

Your email address
Step count data on our servers
Leaderboard rankings
Challenge participation
Social profile information

Remains on Your Device

Local step tracking data
App settings and preferences
Progress and achievements
Personal goals and targets

Note: Local data is only removed if you uninstall the app.
